Gaza under fire: Dozens killed as Israeli genocide continues

At least 64 Palestinians have been killed and 278 others injured in the Gaza Strip over the past 24 hours, as Israeli forces continue their relentless campaign of violence against the besieged population, local medical sources reported.
According to Gaza’s health authorities, the cumulative death toll from Israel’s genocidal attacks since October 2023 has now reached 62,686, with 157,951 people wounded, the majority of whom are women and children.
Following Israel’s resumption of large-scale assaults on March 18, after a brief two-month truce, the casualties have escalated dramatically, with 10,842 Palestinians killed and 45,910 injured since that date alone.
Emergency services continue to face severe obstacles in reaching victims. Ambulance and civil defense crews are frequently targeted, leaving many casualties and bodies trapped under rubble or scattered across the streets of Gaza’s heavily bombarded neighborhoods.
Despite widespread international condemnation, including calls from the United Nations Security Council for an immediate ceasefire and orders from the International Court of Justice to take action to prevent further atrocities, Israel’s offensive shows no signs of slowing.
The humanitarian crisis in Gaza deepens by the hour, as Palestinians endure a systematic campaign of destruction and violence under an ongoing siege that has drawn global outrage. (ILKHA)
