Genocidal war continues: Israel strikes refugee shelters in Gaza

The Israeli occupation has once again escalated its campaign of massacres against the besieged Gaza Strip, killing at least ten Palestinians — most of them women and children — in a series of deliberate attacks on displaced families and residential homes on Thursday.
In the central city of Deir al-Balah, an entire family — a father, mother, and their two children — were martyred when an Israeli drone targeted their tent. The family’s bodies were transferred to Al-Aqsa Martyrs Hospital.
In Jabalia refugee camp, northern Gaza, occupation aircraft bombed the Abu Al-Hussein building, striking an apartment belonging to the Al-Salfiti family. Civil defense crews recovered three martyrs and evacuated four wounded to Al-Shifa Hospital in Gaza City.
In Khan Younis, southern Gaza, two children were martyred when Israeli drones attacked tents sheltering displaced families in the Al-Mawasi area. Their bodies were taken to Nasser Hospital.
The occupation also opened live fire on hundreds of civilians gathered at an aid distribution point in central Gaza, killing one person and injuring several others in yet another crime targeting starving Palestinians.
The latest crimes come as part of Israel’s genocidal war on Gaza, ongoing since October 7, 2023. According to Gaza’s health authorities, at least 60,138 Palestinians have been martyred and 146,269 others wounded during nearly ten months of relentless bombardment and siege, the overwhelming majority women and children.
Despite international outrage, Israel continues to commit massacres and crimes against humanity in Gaza, targeting families, aid seekers, and refugee shelters, while the Palestinian people remain steadfast in their resistance to occupation and aggression. (ILKHA)
