Genocide in Gaza: Hospitals overwhelmed after 46 killed in hours

Health authorities in the Gaza Strip reported that 46 Palestinians were killed between midnight and 10:00 a.m. Tuesday as Israeli forces carried out attacks across multiple areas of the besieged territory.
According to official sources, the fatalities were treated at local hospitals as follows: 32 at Al-Shifa Hospital, 4 at Sheikh Radwan Clinic, 4 at Al-Awda Hospital, 1 at Al-Aqsa Hospital, and 5 at Nasser Hospital. Al-Ma'amoudiya Hospital reported no deaths during the same period.
Emergency responders and ambulance teams are operating around the clock to cope with casualties, highlighting the extreme strain on Gaza’s medical system. Authorities warned that ongoing Israeli attacks on civilian areas and health infrastructure are exacerbating an already dire humanitarian situation.
“The health situation in Gaza is extremely critical,” said a spokesperson for the local health ministry. “Hospitals are overwhelmed, and medical teams are working tirelessly under extremely difficult conditions.”
The latest fatalities are part of a larger campaign of violence that began on October 7, 2023. Since then, Israeli forces have killed 63,557 Palestinians, including a majority of women and children, while 160,660 others have been injured. The continuous targeting of civilians and medical facilities has drawn condemnation from international humanitarian organizations.
Authorities and human rights groups have called for an immediate end to attacks on Gaza’s civilian population and medical infrastructure, stressing the urgent need for humanitarian aid to prevent further loss of life. (ILKHA)
