Hamas Movement congratulated 'the Palestinian people at home and abroad and the free peoples of the world on the achievement by Palestinian detainees in their fight for their rights.'
In a statement issued Thursday, the member of Hamas political bureau Zaher Jabarin said that 'this accomplishment is added to a series of hard-won achievements by the Palestinian detainees in zionist occupation prisons.'
The sense of unity that Palestinian detainees have shown reaffirms that they are capable of confronting any future israeli policy targeting them, the statement reads.
Jabarin thanked the Palestinian people and factions for uniting behind Palestinian detainees in their struggle for their legitimate demands.
He concluded by stressing that the Palestinian people will not rest until all Palestinian detainees regain their freedom and are released from zionist occupation jails. (ILKHA)
