Fawzi Barhoum, the spokesman for the Hamas Movement, asserted on Monday that the Palestinian resistance in the Gaza Strip is effectively controlling the battlefield with absolute awareness.
In a press release, Barhoum accused the Israeli enemy of attempting to create "illusionary advances in Gaza" and engaging in psychological warfare against the local population.
Barhoum emphasized that the presence of israeli army tanks in certain positions does not equate to control over the battle.
He stated that the resistance is actively fighting the invading israeli army on multiple fronts, scoring direct hits on tanks and armored vehicles.
The armed wing of the Hamas Movement, known as the al-Qassam Brigades, declared the destruction of ten israeli army vehicles in Gaza on the same day.
Abu Obeida, the spokesperson for the al-Qassam Brigades, had announced a few days ago that the armed wing successfully destroyed 160 tanks and armored vehicles since the commencement of the israeli ground invasion in Gaza.
