Hope Caravan Foundation sends 55 tonnes of flour aid to Gaza

The Hope Caravan Foundation (Umut Kervanı Vakfı) has dispatched a convoy of trucks carrying 55 tons of flour to Gaza.
This latest shipment follows the foundation's ongoing aid efforts since the start of the Operation Aqsa Flood on October 7, 2023.
The flour, purchased directly from a factory in Egypt, was loaded onto trucks and sent toward the Rafah Border Crossing for delivery into Gaza. This substantial donation aims to provide relief to tens of thousands of people in Gaza before the start of Ramadan.
The Hope Caravan has consistently delivered humanitarian aid to Gaza, utilizing routes through both Egypt and Jordan. Just yesterday, the foundation sent two trucks loaded with essential supplies, including food, clothing, bedding, and pillows, from warehouses near Cairo.
Speaking to ILKHA, Umut Kervanı Vice President Cafer Ökmen emphasized their unwavering commitment to aid efforts.
“As Umut Kervanı Humanitarian Aid Foundation, our aid work and shipments to Gaza have been continuing uninterruptedly since the beginning of the war. We have delivered aid from Egypt and Jordan before. We are currently near Cairo, the capital of Egypt. Yesterday, we sent two trucks of provisions and winter clothing, and today we are at the flour factory. Our loading has begun, and with God's will, our shipment will commence shortly. We will send two trucks of flour aid to Gaza,” Ökmen stated.
He reaffirmed the foundation’s dedication to ongoing relief efforts. “As the Caravan of Hope, we will continue our aid uninterruptedly until life in Gaza returns to normal.”
The aid convoy represents another step in ongoing efforts to provide essential supplies to Gaza as the humanitarian crisis persists. (ILKHA)
