India successfully tests hypersonic missile

India has made a significant stride in its defense capabilities by successfully testing a long-range hypersonic missile.
This achievement places India among a select group of nations possessing such advanced military technology.
The hypersonic missile was launched from Abdul Kalam Island off the east coast on Saturday.
Video footage released by the Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO) showcased the missile's powerful ascent into the night sky.
Hypersonic missiles are considered a cutting-edge technology due to their ability to fly at extremely high speeds and maneuver in flight, making them difficult to intercept.
This development comes as India seeks to bolster its defense capabilities amid growing geopolitical tensions in the region. (ILKHA)
