Indonesia vows to help rebuild war-torn Gaza after ceasefire

Indonesia has expressed its readiness to actively participate in rebuilding the Gaza Strip following the recently announced ceasefire, reaffirming its unwavering solidarity with the Palestinian people and calling on the international community to ensure a just and lasting peace based on international law and UN resolutions.
Indonesia’s Foreign Ministry announced that the country is prepared to take an active role in the reconstruction of Gaza following the recently reached ceasefire agreement that ended months of deadly Israeli aggression against the besieged enclave.
In an official statement shared on its social media platforms, the ministry said, “Indonesia welcomes the first phase of the ceasefire in Gaza and the permanent end of hostilities.”
The statement emphasized the hope that humanitarian access to the devastated territory will soon expand, allowing Indonesia to contribute directly to the rebuilding of Gaza’s infrastructure and essential services.
“Indonesia stands ready to actively support the reconstruction process in Gaza,” the ministry declared, underscoring the country’s longstanding commitment to the Palestinian cause.
Jakarta also urged the international community to seize this moment to restart the peace process and ensure the establishment of an independent and sovereign Palestinian state, in line with relevant UN resolutions and international law.
