Iran launches fifth wave of retaliatory strikes: Explosions rock occupied Palestinian territories

The Islamic Republic of Iran has launched a fifth wave of retaliatory missile strikes targeting the Zionist entity.
Multiple explosions were reported across the occupied Palestinian territories, with strikes confirmed in key areas including Tel Aviv and northern regions.
Hebrew-language media confirmed that several Iranian missiles struck locations throughout central and northern Israel. According to Zionist regime radio, explosions were heard in the Tel Aviv metropolitan area, and missiles hit Rishon LeZion, a city located just south of the capital. Additional blasts were reported in the north, with at least three missiles confirmed to have impacted areas in northern occupied Palestine.
The Israeli military acknowledged the breadth of the offensive, stating that dozens of projectiles were launched from Iran within a span of one hour. Officials confirmed that this marks the fifth wave of missile strikes within a few hours, targeting multiple sectors of the occupied territories, including the northern, central, and southern regions.
While the Israeli army claimed to have intercepted several incoming missiles, it admitted that a significant portion penetrated its air defense systems. Estimates from local media suggest that nearly 40 percent of the launched missiles successfully hit targets across the occupied zone.
This latest barrage follows earlier waves of Iranian strikes, which Tehran says are in direct retaliation for the Israeli regime’s recent attacks on Iranian territory, including sensitive military and nuclear installations. The Iranian operation, widely viewed as a demonstration of the country’s expanding regional capabilities, marks a serious shift in the dynamics of the confrontation.
No official casualty figures have been released as of this report, and damage assessments are still ongoing. Tensions in the region remain high, as both sides brace for further developments. (ILKHA)
