Islamic Emirate: Afghanistan more secure than ever under Islamic rule

The Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan has firmly rejected the latest United Nations quarterly report on the country, denouncing it as inaccurate and misleading.
The leadership reaffirmed that Afghanistan is experiencing unprecedented levels of security and stability under the Islamic system.
Mawlavi Zabihullah Mujahid, spokesperson for the Islamic Emirate, stated via his official X account that the report was based on false narratives and aimed at undermining the peaceful environment in the country. “We reject this report and consider it to be based on false information and aimed at propaganda,” he said. “Security in Afghanistan is now better than ever, and people are living in peace.”
Mujahid emphasized that international institutions, including the UN, often distort facts and ignore the real progress Afghanistan has made since the Islamic Emirate came to power. “There are ongoing efforts to portray Afghanistan as unstable, to overlook the positive developments, and to exaggerate minor incidents in order to create anxiety among the public,” he said.
He criticized the report for categorizing ordinary criminal incidents as security threats, arguing that such issues exist globally and are not unique to Afghanistan. “These types of crimes occur at much higher rates in other countries,” he noted.
To highlight the country’s improving security situation, Mujahid pointed to the recent Eid holidays, during which approximately two million Afghans traveled freely across the country for tourism and family visits. He said this massive movement of people is a clea testament to the trust and confidence citizens have in the current administration.
“The people continue to live their lives under the shadow of the Islamic system with confidence and calm,” Mujahid reassured. “Afghanistan today stands as a secure, sovereign, and stable nation.”
The Islamic Emirate continues to urge international organizations to reflect the true situation on the ground and respect the will of the Afghan people. (ILKHA)
