A delegation of Islamic scholars from Egypt, Sudan, Palestine, and Libya who is on a visit to Afghanistan urged the United States to release the frozen assets of Afghanistan.
At a press conference held in Kabul, they underlined that the economic problems in the war-torn country would be reduced to some extent if the country’s assets were released.
They also urged Islamic countries to officially recognize the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan.
They asked Islamic countries to establish relations with the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan and officially recognize its administration as well as provide them with needed support. (ILKHA)
