Israeli attacks on Khan Younis kill three Palestinians, including child

Three Palestinians, including a child, were killed and several others wounded early Sunday morning following a series of Israeli attacks on Khan Younis, in the southern Gaza Strip.
Medical sources reported that a Palestinian fisherman was shot dead by Israeli naval forces while fishing off the coast of Khan Younis. In a separate assault, two more Palestinians — one of them a child — lost their lives when an Israeli airstrike struck a tent sheltering displaced families in the town of Khuza'a, east of Khan Younis.
The relentless Israeli onslaught on the Gaza Strip, ongoing since October 2023, has resulted in at least 51,495 documented Palestinian deaths and left over 117,524 injured. Thousands more are feared trapped under the rubble, with rescue and civil defense teams unable to reach many areas due to continuous Israeli bombardment.
Israel’s attacks persist in defiance of United Nations Security Council calls for an immediate ceasefire and International Court of Justice directives urging measures to prevent genocide and address the catastrophic humanitarian situation in Gaza. (ILKHA)
