Israeli forces continue genocide in Gaza: 60 Palestinians killed, 284 wounded in 24 hours

At least 60 Palestinians, including many women and children, were martyred and 284 others wounded in the past 24 hours as the Israeli occupation forces escalated their relentless genocide against Gaza’s besieged population, Palestinian medical sources confirmed.
According to the Gaza Ministry of Health, the total number of Palestinians martyred since the Zionist aggression began in October 2023 has risen to a staggering 54,381, with another 124,381 suffering injuries—most of them civilians, many of them children.
The carnage has intensified since Israel resumed its aggression on March 18 following a temporary truce, during which it regrouped and rearmed. Since that date alone, 4,117 Palestinians have been martyred and 12,013 injured as Israeli warplanes and artillery rain death across residential neighborhoods, schools, and even hospitals.
Emergency teams have reported being blocked from reaching the wounded, as the Israeli military continues to deliberately target ambulances and civil defense crews. Many of the dead remain trapped beneath the rubble of homes, and corpses lie on the streets as rescuers face deadly threats from drones and sniper fire.
The genocide continues in defiance of growing global outrage and clear directives from both the UN Security Council and the International Court of Justice (ICJ), which have demanded an immediate ceasefire and legal action to halt war crimes and ensure humanitarian relief for Gaza’s 2.3 million besieged residents.
Palestinians in Gaza remain steadfast in the face of systematic extermination and international inaction. Despite being cut off from food, clean water, and medical care, their will to survive and resist has not been broken. Calls are mounting for Muslim nations and the global community to move beyond words and act decisively to stop the bloodshed and hold the Zionist entity accountable. (ILKHA)
