Israeli forces execute four Palestinian youths in West Bank raid
Four Palestinian young men were martyred at dawn on Thursday after Israeli occupation forces (IOF) launched a deadly assault on a residential building in Tamun, a town located south of Tubas in the northern West Bank.
Eyewitnesses reported that Israeli troops surrounded the house and then targeted it with heavy projectiles, resulting in the immediate deaths of the four young men inside. The identities of the martyrs have yet to be released, but local residents confirmed they were all in their twenties.
The brutal raid sparked armed clashes between Palestinian resistance fighters and Israeli forces in both Tamun and nearby Tubas city. Gunfire was exchanged in several areas, particularly around al-Quds Open University in Tubas, where local sources reported hearing Israeli soldiers screaming during intense firefights.
According to reports, Israeli troops also detained and physically assaulted several civilians in the area amid the ongoing confrontations. Homes were raided, and dozens of families were forced to flee their residences during the military operation.
The latest incident marks a continuation of Israel’s escalated military campaign across the occupied West Bank, which has intensified significantly since October 2023. Human rights organizations have repeatedly warned of Israel’s disproportionate use of force and collective punishment tactics in Palestinian communities.
Palestinian officials have condemned the raid as a “cold-blooded execution” and a violation of international law, calling on the international community to intervene and hold Israel accountable for its crimes. (ILKHA)
