Israeli genocidal aggression in Gaza enters 720th day, thousands killed and injured

The Israeli regime, backed by U.S. support and international silence, continues its genocidal assaults on Gaza, causing mass civilian casualties, widespread destruction, and forcing millions into displacement.
The Israeli regime’s aggression in Gaza has entered its 720th day, with air and artillery attacks targeting densely populated areas. Recent strikes have left hundreds dead, thousands injured, and millions of Palestinians struggling to survive under conditions of forced displacement and humanitarian crisis.
Since the morning of today, Israeli attacks have completely destroyed buildings in the El-Nakaf area in northern Gaza. Strikes in the Shihab and Al-Tewahi neighborhoods have resulted in numerous civilian deaths and injuries.
Additional air assaults were carried out on the Al-Bureij refugee camp, Al-Yafa, and Al-Zuwaiyde areas, with homes, schools, mosques, and cemeteries targeted. According to the Gaza Ministry of Health, a total of 65,419 people have been killed, 167,160 injured, and over 10,000 reported missing since the start of the offensive.
Deaths due to hunger and malnutrition have reached 442, including 147 children. Children, women, and infants have been disproportionately affected, with over 20,000 children and 12,500 women among the fatalities.
The attacks have also claimed the lives of 1,670 healthcare workers, 139 civil defense personnel, 248 journalists, 173 municipal employees, 780 police officers, and 860 athletes. More than 15,000 separate massacres have occurred, 14,000 families have been destroyed, and 2,700 families erased from population records.
Official data shows that 88% of buildings in Gaza have been destroyed, with material losses exceeding $62 billion. The Israeli regime controls 77% of Gaza’s territory through military occupation, fire, and forced displacement. Educational institutions have been heavily affected, with 163 schools completely destroyed and 369 partially damaged. Among religious and cultural sites, 833 mosques were completely destroyed, 167 partially, and 19 cemeteries were erased.
The ongoing offensive continues to push Gaza’s two million residents into extreme humanitarian conditions, highlighting the urgent need for international intervention and protection of civilian lives. (ILKHA)
