Israeli occupation forces arrest over 35 Palestinians in pre-dawn raid

Israeli occupation forces launched a massive arrest and raid campaign across multiple West Bank governorates at dawn on Tuesday, detaining more than 35 Palestinian citizens, including former prisoners and young men.
,According to local sources, the pre-dawn raids were marked by violent home invasions, vandalism of property, and the establishment of military checkpoints that severely disrupted movement throughout the occupied territory. Main and secondary roads were sealed off, isolating entire communities during the operation.
The latest arrests are part of a broader Israeli policy aimed at suppressing dissent and terrorizing the population, particularly targeting former detainees and youth perceived to be active in resisting the occupation.
Palestinian human rights groups have warned that such widespread arrests are not isolated incidents, but rather a systematic campaign designed to break the will of the Palestinian people, sow fear among civilians, and dismantle community leadership networks in the West Bank.
“The occupation authorities are deliberately targeting those who have endured previous imprisonment, knowing they are symbols of steadfastness within their communities,” said a spokesperson for the Palestinian Prisoners' Society.
This latest arrest sweep comes amid a dramatic escalation of Israeli repression in the West Bank, where daily raids, arbitrary detentions, and settler violence have intensified in recent months. Dozens of towns and villages are routinely subjected to overnight military operations, leaving residents in a constant state of fear.
Rights defenders have condemned the international community’s silence, which they say emboldens the Israeli occupation to continue its assaults on Palestinian life without consequence.
As families across the West Bank wake to the trauma of broken doors and stolen sons, calls are growing louder for international accountability, an end to the occupation, and protection for Palestinians living under constant siege. (ILKHA),
