Israeli strike kills 10 Palestinian aid security members in Gaza, deepening humanitarian crisis

Israeli forces killed at least 10 Palestinian aid security team members and injured 30 others, some critically, in a targeted strike in the Al-Sudaniya area, northwest of Gaza City.
The attack, carried out by Israeli drones, ground vehicles, and naval boats, struck tribal aid security forces tasked with protecting humanitarian convoys, enabling the looting of vital aid trucks and exacerbating Gaza’s famine crisis.
Local sources report that Israel’s deliberate targeting of these security teams is part of a systematic campaign to disrupt aid delivery, sow chaos, and intensify the starvation plaguing Gaza’s 2.4 million residents. The strike comes amid a suffocating Israeli siege that has sealed off crossings, blocked essential supplies like food and infant formula, and pushed the humanitarian situation to catastrophic levels.
On Sunday, the National Coalition of Palestinian Tribes, Clans, and Families announced that aid convoys from the “Zikim” area would enter Gaza on Monday under the supervision of tribal leaders and grassroots activists to ensure safe delivery to the besieged population. In a defiant statement, the coalition vowed to protect these lifelines, promising to “strike with an iron fist” against anyone—saboteurs or Israeli collaborators—who interferes with aid efforts. The coalition urged Gaza’s residents to maintain unity and resist chaos, emphasizing that social cohesion is critical to countering Israel’s relentless aggression.
The Gaza Government Media Office reports that Israel’s “vile form of humanitarian blackmail” has already claimed 133 lives, including 85 children, due to famine and malnutrition. The Palestinian Ministry of Health warns that over 260,000 children under five face life-threatening malnutrition, a direct result of Israel’s closure of crossings and obstruction of aid.
As Gaza endures ongoing massacres and a deepening humanitarian catastrophe, the Palestinian people remain steadfast in their resolve to protect their communities and ensure the survival of their most vulnerable, despite Israel’s escalating attempts to break their spirit. (ILKHA)
