Israeli strikes kill five displaced Palestinians in Gaza tents

At least five Palestinian civilians were martyred and several others wounded early Tuesday morning after Israeli occupation forces targeted tents sheltering displaced families in two separate locations across the Gaza Strip.
According to local sources, three civilians were killed and others injured when a tent was struck in the Al-Mawasi area, west of Khan Yunis. In Beit Lahia, in northern Gaza, an Israeli airstrike hit a tent belonging to the Hamdan family near a playground opposite the Canaan village, killing two more civilians.
The deadly attacks come amid ongoing Israeli bombardment of civilian areas, despite the presence of clearly marked displacement shelters and repeated calls by international humanitarian organisations for the protection of non-combatants.
The latest killings have raised the Palestinian death toll to 50,983 since the beginning of the Israeli aggression on Gaza, as the occupying forces continue their war of extermination against the besieged population.
Human rights groups have warned of the catastrophic humanitarian impact of the war, as tens of thousands remain displaced, vulnerable, and without access to adequate shelter, food, or medical care. (ILKHA)
