Kazakh Deputy Prime Minister arrives in Kabul to strengthen economic ties

Serik Zhumangarin, Deputy Prime Minister of Kazakhstan, arrived in Kabul on Monday at the head of a high-ranking delegation comprising senior government officials and prominent representatives from Kazakhstan’s private sector.
According to the Afghan Ministry of Industry and Commerce, the primary purpose of the visit is to hold the Kazakh-Afghan Business Forum, aimed at boosting bilateral economic and trade cooperation between the two neighboring nations.
During his visit, Deputy Prime Minister Zhumangarin is expected to meet with senior officials of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan to discuss ways to deepen collaboration across various sectors.
The Kazakh-Afghan Business Forum, scheduled for Tuesday, will feature high-level discussions between government officials and business leaders from both countries. Key topics on the agenda include expanding trade and investment, strengthening regional transit corridors, and exploring new economic opportunities.
Officials from both sides have expressed optimism that the forum will pave the way for practical steps toward enhancing mutual economic engagement and promoting private sector partnerships.
