Yemeni forces launch strikes on Israeli and U.S. targets in support of Gaza

The Yemeni Armed Forces announced a series of military operations targeting Israeli and U.S. positions, citing solidarity with Palestinians in Gaza and retaliation for U.S.-Israeli aggression.
The strikes, detailed in an official statement, hit strategic sites in occupied Palestine and U.S. naval assets in the Red and Arabian Seas.
Yemeni forces announced successful drone strikes on Israeli military facilities. A Yaffa drone struck a site in Ashkelon, while a Sammad-1 drone targeted a position in Umm al-Rashrash (Eilat). The Armed Forces described these as precise operations in support of Gaza, where Israeli forces, backed by the U.S., is committing genocide.
In response to U.S. airstrikes on Sana’a that reportedly killed civilians, Yemen’s missile and drone units attacked two U.S. aircraft carriers. The USS Harry S. Truman, operating in the Red Sea, was targeted with two cruise missiles and two drones. The USS Carl Vinson, in the Arabian Sea, was hit with three cruise missiles and four drones. The Yemeni forces said that both operations had achieved their objectives.
Despite facing U.S.-led airstrikes, the Yemeni Armed Forces vowed to continue operations against Israeli and U.S. targets until the Gaza siege ends. They warned of expanding their military scope, asserting that their capabilities are growing despite sanctions and bombardments.
Yemen’s powerful military response further solidifies its role as a central pillar in the growing Axis of Resistance, standing shoulder to shoulder with Palestine, Lebanon, Iraq, and other anti-imperialist movements resisting the tyranny of Western-backed Zionism.
As Gaza endures the most horrific genocide in modern history, the Yemeni response sends a clear message to the world: the era of silent submission is over. From Sana’a to Ashkelon, and from the Red Sea to the heart of occupied Palestine, the voice of justice now echoes through the engines of resistance. (ILKHA)
