Missile attack on US base in Iraq

Katyusha rockets has targeted Iraqi Taji military camp that houses American troops north of the capital, Baghdad on Tuesday.
No casualties reported in missile attack.
The base, which was occupied by American troops in 2003, is located in a rural region approximately 27 km (17 mi) north of the city of Baghdad in the Baghdad Governorate.
4 Iraqi soldiers were wounded after 8 rockets hit the Al Balad airbase on Monday.
On 8 January 2020, in a military operation code named Operation Martyr Soleimani, Iran launched numerous ballistic missiles at the Ayn al-Asad airbase in al Anbar Governorate, Western Iraq, as well as another airbase in Erbil, Iraqi Kurdistan, in response to the killing of General Qaseem Soleimani by a United States drone strike.
