Orphans Foundation delivers daily hot meals to Gaza families
As Gaza continues to endure relentless bombardment and a crippling blockade imposed by the Israeli occupation, the Orphans Foundation (Yetimler Vakfı) is bringing hope to Palestinian families through its humanitarian initiative, “A Dining Table Every Day.”
The project provides hot meals to families in need and orphaned children who have lost their homes and loved ones in the ongoing attacks.
For Palestinians in Gaza, where thousands of residential buildings have been reduced to rubble and access to food, water, and electricity is severely restricted, daily survival has become a struggle. Amid this devastation, the Orphans Foundation’s volunteers work tirelessly to prepare and deliver warm meals to those most affected, ensuring that no child or family is left behind.
Officials from the Foundation stressed that the initiative is not just about food—it’s about restoring dignity and offering compassion to people enduring unimaginable hardship under occupation.
“These meals do more than fill empty stomachs,” a Foundation representative said. “They bring a sense of comfort and remind our children that they are not forgotten. A simple plate of food can be a symbol of hope and resilience in the face of oppression.”
The Foundation has appealed to the global community and philanthropists to stand in solidarity with Gaza’s people.
“Every donation helps us feed a family that has lost everything,” the organization said. “Amid destruction and displacement, these tables represent unity and the spirit of giving that keeps our people strong.”
Through projects like “A Dining Table Every Day,” Palestinians in Gaza continue to show extraordinary strength and compassion, supporting one another even as the blockade and airstrikes persist.
The Orphans Foundation’s ongoing efforts highlight the power of community and international solidarity in confronting injustice and bringing hope to a population that has suffered under siege for years. (ILKHA)
