Pakistan launches "Operation Bunyanun Marsoos" in response to Indian aggression

Pakistan has initiated a major military campaign, dubbed "Operation Bunyanun Marsoos" (Concrete Structure), in a decisive response to recent Indian provocations, military officials confirmed today.
The operation aims to protect Pakistan’s sovereignty and counter escalating tensions in the region, according to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), the media arm of the Pakistan Armed UForces.
The ISPR stated that the operation targets strategic Indian military assets with precision strikes, emphasizing Pakistan’s commitment to avoiding escalation while reserving the right to respond forcefully to aggression. "Pakistan has acted with restraint, but India’s hostilities left us no choice but to act decisively," a senior military spokesperson said.
Key Targets Neutralized
In the opening phase of the operation, Pakistan’s armed forces successfully struck several high-value Indian military installations:
-Udhampur Air Base in Indian-occupied Jammu & Kashmir was completely destroyed, crippling India’s air operations in the region.
-Pathankot Airfield in Punjab was neutralized, further limiting India’s air mobility.
-A BrahMos missile storage site in Beas was obliterated, eliminating a significant offensive threat.
Cyberwarfare Disrupts India’s Infrastructure
In a parallel cyber offensive, Pakistan reportedly disabled 70% of India’s power grid, according to Pakistani state-run PTV News. The cyberattack, synchronized with kinetic strikes, disrupted India’s military coordination and critical infrastructure, showcasing Pakistan’s advanced cyberwarfare capabilities.
Trigger for the Operation
The operation was launched in retaliation for India’s unprovoked missile strikes on three Pakistani air bases earlier this week, which Pakistan condemned as a violation of its airspace and sovereignty. The ISPR described the Indian actions as a "blatant act of aggression," prompting Pakistan’s swift and calculated response.
Aviation Shutdowns
India has closed 32 airports in its northern and western regions, including Srinagar and Amritsar, for civilian flights until at least May 15.
Pakistan has temporarily shut down all its airfields until midnight Saturday (GMT 0700), according to Saifullah Khan of the Pakistan Civil Aviation Authority.
Pakistan’s Message of Restraint and Resolve
Pakistani leadership emphasized that Operation Bunyanun Marsoos is a limited, defensive campaign aimed at deterring further Indian aggression. “This operation underscores that Pakistan’s sovereignty is non-negotiable, and our armed forces are fully prepared to defend the nation,” the ISPR stated.
India has yet to issue an official response, with analysts suggesting the silence reflects the operation’s strategic impact. Pakistan’s leadership and citizens stand united behind the armed forces, with
Operation Bunyanun Marsoos sending a clear message: any act of aggression will be met with overwhelming resolve. (ILKHA)
