Palestinian groups condemn Israeli aggression on Syria

The Islamic Resistance Movement, Hamas, strongly condemned Israel’s latest aggression on Syrian territory, including its ground incursion into the countryside of Daraa and Quneitra.
In a statement issued Wednesday, Hamas denounced the assault as a “blatant attack on Syrian sovereignty” and a continuation of Israel’s expansionist policies against Arab nations.
The Palestinian Mujahideen Movement also denounced the Israeli offensive, highlighting the continued bombardment of southern Damascus and the seizure of additional Syrian territories. The movement described the attacks as a “violation of Syrian sovereignty” and a direct threat to the unity and stability of the country.
“This ongoing treacherous aggression is part of the Zionist-American war against our nation, targeting its lands, resources, and existence,” the movement stated. It further warned that the Zionist entity remains an imminent threat to the entire region and called for a unified response to counter Israeli expansionism.
The Mujahideen Movement urged Arab and Islamic nations to take a firm stand against Israel’s continued military incursions and violations. “It is imperative for the Ummah to unite against its primary enemy—the Zionist entity and its allies,” the group stated, calling for decisive action to halt the occupation’s increasing hostilities.
Local Syrian sources reported that Israeli forces detonated several Syrian military barracks upon entering Daraa and Quneitra, further escalating tensions in the war-torn region. (ILKHA)
