Palestinian resistance forces intensify attacks against Israeli forces in Gaza Strip

Palestinian resistance factions, led by the Al-Qassam Brigades, the military wing of Hamas, have significantly increased their attacks on Israeli forces, causing considerable losses in both soldiers and equipment.
This sustained offensive comes amid admissions from senior Israeli military officials about setbacks in their operations.
Al-Qassam Brigades launched heavy-caliber mortar shells at Israeli concentrations northeast of the Bureij refugee camp in central Gaza and at forces penetrating north and south of Khan Yunis.
The Brigades released footage of an ambush at "Nabulsi Roundabout" in Tal al-Hawa, Gaza City. The video showed fighters planting mines and explosives, which were detonated as an Israeli armored personnel carrier and other vehicles approached, followed by mortar shelling. The attack resulted in casualties and necessitated helicopter evacuations for the injured Israeli soldiers.
Al-Qassam fighters engaged in fierce close-quarters combat with Israeli forces east of Jabalia. Al-Quds Brigades also targeted an Israeli command and control position near Martyrs Mosque in Khan Yunis.
The Brigades claimed a successful sniper operation against an Israeli soldier south of Gaza City and mortar shell attacks on Israeli military concentrations in Khan Yunis and other areas.
Al-Qassam Brigades reported ambushing Israeli military vehicles with high-explosive devices, resulting in the destruction of several vehicles and casualties among the soldiers.
The resistance groups have continued their offensive with machine gun clashes and targeted attacks on Israeli forces in Maghazi and Bureij camps. They also targeted a Merkava tank near Nuseirat camp with a Tandum shell.
At the beginning of the month, Al-Qassam Brigades announced the elimination of an eight-member Israeli force in an ambush in Bani Suhaila, east of Khan Yunis. Another soldier was killed during a house entry operation in Khan Yunis.
Al-Quds Brigades launched missile salvos targeting Sderot, Niram, and other settlements surrounding the Gaza Strip, signaling the intensity and reach of their operations.
The Al-Qassam Brigades emphasized their preparedness and ability to continue engaging Israeli forces with various weapons and strategies. They highlighted their capacity to inflict significant damage on Israeli military equipment and personnel.
The intensified attacks by Palestinian resistance factions come amid a broader context of regional tensions and ongoing conflict. The situation in Gaza remains highly volatile, with both sides experiencing significant casualties and infrastructure damage.
As the conflict continues, the international community watches closely, with concerns about the humanitarian impact and the potential for further escalation. (ILKHA)
