Palestinian resistance inflicts heavy blows on Israeli forces in eastern Gaza

Palestinian resistance fighters continue to mount a courageous and determined defense of Gaza as intense confrontations broke out on Wednesday in the eastern parts of Gaza City, particularly in the al-Tuffah neighborhood.
According to local sources, the fighting marked one of the most ferocious confrontations in recent days, underscoring the resilience and strength of the Palestinian resistance against the occupying Israeli forces.
The al-Qassam Brigades, the armed wing of Hamas, announced that its fighters had successfully targeted three Israeli Merkava 4 tanks near al-Wafa Hospital using Yassin-105 anti-armor rocket-propelled grenades. These precision strikes reportedly caused significant damage, sending a clear message that Palestinian resistance remains active and effective despite months of siege and relentless bombardment.
In a separate operation, Saraya al-Quds, the military wing of Palestinian Islamic Jihad, confirmed that one of its snipers had hit an Israeli soldier positioned on a hill in the al-Shujaiya neighborhood, further demonstrating the resistance’s ongoing capabilities in direct engagements with the occupation forces.
The al-Qassam Brigades also announced that it launched a retaliatory rocket barrage targeting the illegal Israeli settlement of Nir Yitzhak. The response came following a new series of massacres committed by the Israeli occupation, including the bombing of displaced Palestinian civilians sheltering in tent camps in areas such as al-Mawasi.
Despite facing a brutal siege, nonstop aerial and ground assaults, and deliberate attacks on civilian infrastructure, the Palestinian resistance maintains an unyielding presence on the battlefield. Fighters continue to defend their people and land against Israel’s attempts to crush Palestinian steadfastness through overwhelming military force.
The unwavering resistance reflects the broader Palestinian determination to resist occupation, defend their rights, and respond to the massacres, destruction, and forced displacement inflicted by the Israeli regime. The battle in Gaza is not just a military confrontation—it is a testament to the enduring will of a people fighting for liberation, dignity, and justice. (ILKHA)
