Palestinian resistance inflicts heavy losses on Israeli forces in series of coordinated operations across Gaza

The armed wings of Hamas and Palestinian Islamic Jihad (PIJ) have announced a series of powerful, coordinated operations across multiple fronts in the Gaza Strip, destroying dozens of Israeli military vehicles and inflicting significant casualties on the occupation forces.
In Gaza City’s al-Shujaiya neighborhood, al-Qassam fighters executed multiple operations along al-Mansoura Street.
On Tuesday, a Merkava tank was obliterated using a locally produced Yassin-105 tandem charge rocket-propelled grenade (RPG), a testament to the ingenuity and resilience of the Palestinian Resistance.
In July, the al-Qassam Brigades, the military wing of Hamas, executed a series of bold operations against Israeli occupation forces in Gaza, showcasing the Palestinian Resistance’s unwavering resolve. On July 4, fighters targeted a Merkava tank with a Yassin-105 shell, while on July 5, they attacked a house sheltering Israeli soldiers, firing three anti-personnel RPGs that killed and wounded multiple troops. On July 9, al-Qassam snipers struck three Israeli soldiers, killing and injuring them. On July 16, the Brigades hit an Israeli command and control site with machine guns, an anti-personnel shell, and a “Rajoum” rocket. The month’s operations culminated on July 25, when a Merkava tank and two D9 bulldozers were destroyed using tandem-charge shells and Yassin-105 munitions, delivering significant blows to the Israeli military’s oppressive presence in Gaza.
In a powerful joint operation on Monday, al-Qassam and al-Quds Brigades bombarded a gathering of Israeli soldiers and military vehicles with mortar shells in the al-Satr al-Gharbi area, north of Khan Younis. The al-Quds Brigades also destroyed an Israeli military vehicle in central Khan Younis’s al-Katiba area by detonating a high-explosive “Thaqeb” device, further showcasing the Resistance’s tactical prowess.
A field commander from the al-Quds Brigades revealed that Resistance fighters have destroyed over 52 Israeli military vehicles in the al-Shujaiya, al-Tuffah, and al-Zaytoun neighborhoods, using “Thaqeb” and “Zelzal” improvised explosive devices and repurposed Israeli munitions. The commander emphasized that these operations, conducted in carefully prepared combat zones, have dealt a “painful blow” to the Israeli military, though many vehicle destructions remain undocumented due to restricted access. “The Resistance will continue its operations until the occupation is driven out,” the commander vowed.
Many additional demolitions have yet to be officially announced due to the difficulty of reaching and documenting certain combat zones.
The commander stressed that these losses represent a severe blow to the Israeli military during its eastern Gaza incursion and vowed that the al-Quds Brigades — alongside all components of the Palestinian Resistance — will continue their operations until the occupation is defeated. (ILKHA)
