Palestinian resistance kills three Israeli soldiers in northern Gaza

Three Israeli soldiers were killed and two others wounded on Monday evening after Palestinian resistance forces targeted an Israeli military vehicle in the Jabalia area of northern Gaza, according to a statement from the Israeli army on Tuesday morning.
The soldiers, part of the Rotem Battalion of the Givati Brigade, were struck when an explosive device—reportedly planted by Palestinian fighters—detonated near their armored vehicle during ongoing operations in the densely populated area.
The attack marks a continuation of armed resistance against Israel’s devastating and prolonged military onslaught on Gaza, which has entered its twenty-firsth month. The Israeli war, widely condemned for its scale and brutality, has killed nearly 54,500 Palestinians, the majority of them women and children, according to Palestinian health authorities.
Despite increasing global outcry and mounting calls for an immediate ceasefire, Israel continues its relentless campaign across Gaza—razing entire neighborhoods, targeting hospitals, and blocking essential humanitarian aid. The resistance in Jabalia is part of what Palestinian groups describe as their legitimate right to defend their land and people from occupation and genocide.
The latest casualties among Israeli forces highlight the growing cost of the military operation, both to the occupying army and to the besieged civilian population of Gaza, who remain under daily bombardment, displacement, and starvation.
International human rights organizations have called for urgent action to stop the war and hold Israeli leaders accountable for alleged war crimes. However, meaningful intervention remains stalled amid Western support for Tel Aviv’s military objectives.
As Israel pushes further into northern Gaza, resistance fighters continue to confront the incursion with determination, signaling that Gaza remains unbroken despite the immense suffering inflicted by the ongoing siege. (ILKHA)
