An 18-year-old Palestinian man was killed on Sunday after being shot by Israeli forces during clashes east of Nablus, according to local sources.
Ministry of Health identified the victim as Noor Ahmad Mustafa Arafat. He sustained multiple gunshot wounds to the chest, shoulder, and abdomen during confrontations with Israeli forces in the al-Masaken area.
The Palestinian Red Crescent reported transferring Arafat to a hospital after he was critically injured by live ammunition. However, he later succumbed to his injuries.
Local witnesses said Israeli forces stormed the al-Masaken popular area and fired live bullets, sparking clashes during which Arafat was fatally shot.
The incident adds to the escalating tensions in the West Bank, where confrontations between Israeli forces and Palestinians have become increasingly frequent. (ILKHA)
