The Russian Navy has carried out a precision strike using multiple-launch systems, effectively eradicating a Ukrainian aircraft armament and ammunition site.
The strike was carried out by seaborne long-range precision weaponry, resulting in the complete destruction of the targeted site.
The strike was announced by Lieutenant-General Igor Konashenkov, the Defense Ministry Spokesman. He said that the strike was carried out in response to Ukrainian attacks on Russian territory.
The strike is the latest in a series of Russian attacks on Ukrainian military targets. In recent days, Russian forces have also targeted Ukrainian airfields, ammunition depots, and command centers.
Russian forces have repelled two separate attacks by Ukrainian troops in the Kupyansk area and the Krasny Liman region, according to the Russian Defense Ministry.
In the Kupyansk area, Russian forces fended off an attack by Ukrainian troops using coordinated actions of aircraft and artillery. The Russian forces were able to neutralize around 30 Ukrainian personnel, along with two armored combat vehicles, three motor vehicles, and a D-20 howitzer.
In the Krasny Liman region, Russian forces engaged and defeated Ukrainian army units. The Russian forces were able to eliminate approximately 60 enemy troops.
The Russian Defense Ministry also said that Russian forces have made successful strides in the Donetsk area, repulsing two Ukrainian army attacks and causing the elimination of over 185 enemy personnel.
In the south Donetsk area, Russian forces effectively neutralized around 100 Ukrainian troops.
The Russian military also displayed strength in the Zaporozhye area by repelling seven attacks by Ukrainian forces. In this region, roughly 160 Ukrainian troops were defeated, along with two US-made artillery systems and two British howitzers.
Russian air defense systems have intercepted three US-made JDAM guided bombs and one rocket from the US-manufactured HIMARS multiple launch rocket system. They have also successfully thwarted 27 Ukrainian unmanned aerial vehicles across various regions.
The Russian Defense Ministry said that the intercepted weapons were intended to be used against Russian forces.
Russian forces have continued their offensive in Ukraine, targeting Ukrainian manpower and military assets in 128 areas. The operations involved operational and tactical aircraft, missile troops, and artillery.
The Russian Armed Forces have managed to eliminate a significant number of Ukrainian warplanes, combat helicopters, unmanned aerial vehicles, surface-to-air missile systems, tanks, armored combat vehicles, multiple rocket launchers, field artillery guns, mortars, and special military motor vehicles.
The Ukrainian military has not yet commented on the latest Russian operations. (ILKHA)
