SOHR: Israel conducted nine attacks in Southern Syria over the past three days
The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights (SOHR) has reported that the Israeli occupation forces carried out nine attacks across southern Syria over the past three days, beginning on November 1, 2025.
According to the UK-based monitoring group, the attacks involved at least 32 Israeli military vehicles, including tanks and bulldozers, which entered Syrian territory near the provinces of Daraa and Quneitra.
The SOHR said Israeli forces advanced into several border villages—some for the first time in months—conducting searches, erecting temporary checkpoints, and firing warning shots into the air to disperse civilians. These incursions reportedly coincided with the detention of several residents in western Daraa countryside.
The observatory described the situation as a “notable field escalation” within Syrian territory near the occupied Golan Heights, warning that such movements have caused growing concern among local populations amid the continued absence of an official response from Damascus.
Local reports noted that residents along the separation line between Syria and the Israeli-occupied Golan have expressed alarm over the repeated incursions and violations of Syrian sovereignty.
The recent escalation comes amid ongoing regional tensions and follows a series of Israeli airstrikes across Syria in recent months, targeting what Tel Aviv claims are Iranian-linked positions. (ILKHA)
