SpaceX successfully launches 46 Starlink satellites into orbit

On Thursday, SpaceX successfully launched a Falcon 9 rocket from Vandenberg Space Force Base carrying 46 Starlink satellites into low-Earth orbit.
Starlink is a high-speed broadband satellite internet service that aims to provide connectivity to remote areas.
The rocket's first stage booster was also successfully landed on a droneship stationed in the Pacific Ocean after stage separation, having been used in 12 previous missions.
This launch was the company's third attempt this week after two previous cancellations.
The Starlink mega constellation currently has about 4,000 operational satellites, but that number could eventually grow to over 40,000.
SpaceX has launched 27 missions this year, including the first-ever test flight of a fully stacked Starship last week, which performed relatively well before encountering issues and triggering a self-destruct mechanism over the Gulf of Mexico. (ILKHA)
