Ten more Palestinians die from starvation in Gaza

Medical sources in the Gaza Strip have reported the deaths of ten Palestinians, including two children, over the past 24 hours due to starvation and acute malnutrition.
This raises the total number of starvation-related fatalities to 313, including 119 children, as the humanitarian crisis in the territory continues to worsen.
The devastating famine is a direct consequence of Israel’s ongoing genocidal war on Gaza, which has targeted civilians since October 7, 2023. Since March 2, 2025, Israeli authorities have sealed all crossings into Gaza, preventing the entry of essential food and medical supplies and accelerating the spread of malnutrition.
The United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees in the Near East (UNRWA) has warned that malnutrition among children under five doubled between March and June as a result of the blockade. Meanwhile, the World Health Organization (WHO) reports that nearly one in five children under five in Gaza City suffers from acute malnutrition, highlighting the severity of the crisis.
The international community has repeatedly condemned the ongoing atrocities in Gaza, but despite calls and orders from the International Court of Justice, the occupying power continues a campaign of deliberate killing, starvation, destruction, and forced displacement of Palestinian civilians.
Humanitarian organizations warn that without immediate intervention, the crisis will continue to claim lives, particularly among children, and leave lasting physical and psychological scars on the survivors. (ILKHA)
