Three Israeli soldiers killed in Gaza

The Israeli occupation army confirmed the deaths of three soldiers in separate incidents as Palestinian resistance factions continued to escalate operations against Israeli military positions across the Gaza Strip.
Sgt. Yair Eliyahou, 19, a combat engineering soldier from the Northern Brigade and resident of the settlement of Ezer, was killed overnight in what the Israeli military described as a "combat-related operational accident" in northern Gaza. An investigation into the circumstances is ongoing.
In a separate incident in Khan Younis, in the southern Gaza Strip, two additional Israeli soldiers from the elite Golani Brigade were killed after their tank was struck by an anti-tank missile. The targeted attack underscores the increasing vulnerability of Israeli armored units amid intensified resistance activities.
Israeli media outlets also reported at least four "security incidents" across the Gaza Strip, including engagements in Khan Younis and Beit Hanoun. One of the incidents remains under investigation, and no further details have been released due to an ongoing media blackout imposed on battlefield developments. One source referred to a “very difficult incident” that reportedly took five hours to resolve.
Meanwhile, Palestinian resistance groups announced a series of coordinated and high-impact attacks targeting Israeli military positions across Khan Younis. The al-Qassam Brigades, the military wing of Hamas, confirmed it shelled Israeli forces in the al-Satar area, north of Khan Younis, with heavy mortar fire and launched a salvo of Q20 rockets toward the settlements of Nir Yitzhak and Miftahim.
The al-Aqsa Martyrs' Brigades, affiliated with the Islamic Jihad movement, reported shelling a concentration of Israeli soldiers and military vehicles near Street 5 in northern Khan Younis and announced the capture of an Israeli EVO MAX drone conducting aerial surveillance over the city.
Simultaneously, the al-Quds Brigades, the armed wing of Islamic Jihad, claimed a direct hit on an Israeli command and control center near the Khadra Mosque with a 107-type rocket. In a joint operation with the Martyr Abu Ali Mustafa Brigades of the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine, they also targeted Israeli positions on al-Badaw Street in western al-Satar.
In another bold strike, al-Qassam fighters fired a Yassin 105 shell at an Israeli troop carrier on al-Mujamma al-Islami Street, reportedly setting the vehicle ablaze and prompting a helicopter evacuation of casualties. Around the same time, the al-Aqsa Martyrs' Brigades destroyed another Israeli military vehicle in al-Qarara using a powerful Asif 3 explosive device.
These latest operations are part of the broader Al-Aqsa Flood Operation, under which Palestinian fighters continue to resist Israeli incursions by ambushing troops, disabling vehicles, and inflicting casualties. Resistance factions report ongoing confrontations across Gaza, as Israeli forces face increasing losses on multiple fronts.
As the Israeli military maintains its offensive, Palestinian groups say they remain committed to resisting occupation and defending Gaza with escalating tactical and armed responses. (ILKHA)
