Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan meets Serbian counterpart in Belgrade

Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan met with Marko Đurić, Serbia’s Minister of Foreign Affairs, in Belgrade on Monday to discuss strengthening bilateral relations and enhancing diplomatic and economic cooperation between the two nations.
The high-level talks focused on Türkiye–Serbia relations, with both ministers reaffirming their commitment to deepening cooperation across multiple sectors. Regional issues, particularly the maintenance of peace and stability in the Balkans, were a key item on the agenda.
Minister Fidan reiterated Türkiye’s support for regional dialogue and peaceful coexistence, emphasizing Ankara’s constructive approach to ensuring long-term stability in southeastern Europe.
The two ministers also exchanged views on recent developments in Bosnia-Herzegovina, underlining the importance of safeguarding the country's sovereignty and promoting inter-ethnic harmony.
