Yemen’s Ansar Allah leader, Sayyed Abdul-Malik al-Houthi, has strongly condemned US President Donald Trump’s plan to forcibly displace the Palestinian people from their homeland, warning that Yemen will not remain a bystander and is prepared to intervene militarily if necessary.
In a powerful speech addressing regional and international developments, Sayyed al-Houthi denounced Trump’s proposal as a blatant violation of Palestinian rights and an extension of the Zionist project of expansionism. He described the US president as a “criminal” whose rhetoric resembles “nonsense and buffoonery,” adding that Trump's plan is “a joke” that lacks legitimacy and justice.
Sayyed al-Houthi emphasized that the forced displacement scheme is a continuation of aggressive policies aimed at eliminating the Palestinian cause. He further condemned Washington’s history of disregarding peace agreements, stating that the US has consistently abandoned commitments made to Palestine while unconditionally supporting Israeli occupation and aggression.
The Yemeni leader urged Arab nations to recognize the gravity of the situation, stressing that the success of Trump’s plan relies on regional complicity. He warned that Arab governments must not succumb to US pressure, as doing so would make them “accomplices in a heinous crime.”
Sayyed al-Houthi called for a unified Arab and Islamic response against this “criminal scheme,” urging nations to stand resolutely with the Palestinian people in rejecting all forms of displacement. He emphasized that this is not merely a Palestinian issue but a direct assault on Arab identity, sovereignty, and justice.
Reaffirming Yemen’s steadfast stance, Sayyed al-Houthi declared that his country will continue supporting the Palestinian Resistance and will take all necessary measures to defend the Palestinian people. He condemned Israeli violations of ceasefire agreements and denounced Trump’s threats against the Resistance, labeling him a “deceptive guarantor” with no regard for justice.
In a strong warning, Sayyed al-Houthi announced that Yemen will take immediate military action against both “Israel” and the US if they proceed with any attack on Gaza. He called on the Yemeni Armed Forces to maintain full combat readiness and vowed that Yemen “will not hesitate to strike” should aggression continue.
To demonstrate its unwavering commitment, the Yemeni people will stage a massive demonstration on Friday to send a clear warning to Washington and Tel Aviv.
Concluding his speech, Sayyed al-Houthi assured the Palestinian Resistance and the Axis of Resistance that Yemen remains vigilant and will stand by their side in their struggle for liberation. Addressing the Palestinian people directly, he declared, “You are not alone. We stand with you until Palestine is free and these sinister, oppressive plans are defeated.” (ILKHA)
