Yemeni forces clash with U.S. destroyers in strategic water routes

The spokesperson of Yemeni Ansar Allah Movement, Brigadier General Yahya Saree, announced that there was a confrontation with multiple American destroyers and warships in the Gulf of Aden and the Strait of Bab al-Mandeb.
According to Saree, the confrontation resulted in the direct hitting of an American warship, compelling two American merchant ships to retreat and return. The operation, lasting over two hours, involved the deployment of a number of ballistic missiles by the Yemeni armed forces.
Despite attempts by the U.S. warships to intercept them, Saree revealed that a number of ballistic missiles successfully reached their targets during the confrontation.
The incident raises tensions in the region and underscores the complex dynamics at play in the ongoing conflict in Yemen. The Yemeni Armed Forces' claims of a successful confrontation with U.S. warships are likely to prompt international scrutiny and further discussions on the situation in the Gulf of Aden. (ILKHA)
