The Turkish Ministry of National Education's AI-supported individual learning platform, MEBI, is rolling out new features to assist high school students in their university preparation during the semester break.
Aimed at enhancing students' university preparation, MEBI offers “live lessons,” “trial exams,” “subject summary books,” and new modules to help students achieve their goals more effectively.
MEBI’s personalized learning structure enables high school students and graduates to tailor their study plans according to their individual needs. The platform’s digital resources and interactive materials allow students to review topics at their convenience and actively engage in their education.
Live Lessons and Trial Exams for YKS Preparation
During the semester break, MEBI has organized various activities to support students preparing for the Higher Education Institutions Exam (YKS). Online trial exams, including the Basic Proficiency Test (TYT), Field Proficiency Tests (AYT), and Foreign Language Test (YDT), began during the mid-term break and will continue until January 26.
Additionally, live lessons on AYT topics will be available for YKS students between January 27-31. These lessons are designed to enhance the learning experience and reinforce key exam material.
MEBI Subject Summary Books for Effective Review
To aid students in their review, MEBI has also launched digital “Subject Summary Books.” This series consists of 19 books covering TYT, AYT, and YDT topics, providing students with an efficient way to consolidate their knowledge ahead of the exams.
Convenient New Features for Personalized Learning
MEBI has introduced several new modules to make the platform even more user-friendly. The "Following" module, for example, allows students to easily track the questions they've answered and the topics they've studied. The module includes two sections: “My Review” and “My Favorites,” which help students organize their learning process.
Another new feature enables students to upload results from external trial exams into the system. By integrating these results into the “Trial Exam Reports” section in the “My Reports” module, students can track their progress and monitor their development throughout the YKS preparation period.
Widespread Impact of MEBI Platform
Since its launch, more than 700,000 students have benefited from the MEBI platform, which aims to provide equal educational opportunities to all secondary education students, regardless of location or circumstances. The platform has been downloaded a total of 492,932 times across various mobile app markets.
Students have solved over 32 million questions on the MEBI platform, using it to reinforce their learning at their own pace. The platform also includes a virtual assistant, “KANKA,” which guides students through their learning journey and helps them address any gaps in their knowledge.
The MEBI platform is accessible through the website "mebi.eba.gov.tr" and mobile app stores, providing students with a flexible and comprehensive learning experience. (ILKHA)
