Algerian delegation meets Doğru Media group to bolster support for Palestinian cause

A delegation of Algerian journalists, politicians, and civil society representatives met with Doğru Medya Group in Türkiye on Monday to discuss deepening cooperation in support of the Palestinian cause.
The visit, hosted by the International Women’s Union for Support of Jerusalem and Palestine, highlighted a shared commitment to amplifying the Palestinian struggle through media and international solidarity.
The Algerian delegation, coordinated by Fatma Feyza Yeter, General Coordinator of the International Women’s Union, included prominent media figures such as radio programmer İsmihan Kusur, program producer and presenter Rashida Zibri, Qur’an Radio presenter Aisha Omran, media software programmer Ghaliya Arabi, and others including Rimasa Naci, Hawle Zaruk, and Marya Eric Bilhüsna.
Hosted by Doğru Medya Group, which operates outlets such as İlke Haber Agency, Doğruhaber website, and Rehber TV, the delegation was warmly welcomed by Rehber TV General Manager Mehmet Ali Gönül and İlke Haber Agency Istanbul Representative Nizamettin Aşkın. The meeting provided a platform for both sides to exchange insights on their respective media initiatives and explore opportunities for joint projects aimed at raising global awareness of the Palestinian cause.
Discussions focused on strengthening media collaboration to highlight the ongoing struggles of the Palestinian people and counter misinformation. The Algerian and Turkish representatives emphasized the importance of unified efforts to advocate for justice and amplify the voices of Palestinians on an international stage.
