Ankara to host "Resistance, Martyrdom, and Gaza" solidarity event

The Ankara Palestine Solidarity Platform (ANFIDAP) has issued a call to action for all supporters of Palestinian liberation to attend a crucial event this Saturday in Ankara, titled "Resistance, Martyrdom, and Gaza."
This event comes as the besieged Gaza Strip and the wider Palestinian territories continue to endure relentless bombardment by the Israeli occupation forces, resulting in the tragic loss of over 50,000 Palestinian lives since October 7, 2023. The attacks have indiscriminately targeted schools, hospitals, mosques, churches, and homes, demonstrating a callous disregard for human life.
The "February Martyrdom Month" program, organized by ANFIDAP, will take place at the North Ankara Complex Takva Congress Center on Saturday, February 22nd, at 7:00 PM. The event will commence with a recitation from the Holy Quran by Mustafa Özcan Güneşdoğdu. Distinguished speakers, including Hamas Spokesman Fawzi Barhum and Dr. Abdulaziz Kıranşal, will address the audience, offering insights into the ongoing struggle and the resilience of the Palestinian people. The program will conclude with a performance by renowned artist Ömer Karaoğlu, whose music embodies the spirit of resistance.
ANFIDAP extends a warm invitation to all residents of Ankara who cherish Jerusalem and stand in solidarity with the Palestinian cause. This event serves as a vital opportunity to express support for the Palestinian people in the face of ongoing atrocities and to amplify their voices in the international community.
Join ANFIDAP this Saturday to demonstrate your unwavering commitment to justice and liberation for Palestine. (ILKHA)
