Anonymous philanthropist in Diyarbakır donates car to support Gaza

A philanthropist in Diyarbakır, wishing to remain anonymous, has donated their car to support the people of Gaza.
The individual delivered the car keys and registration to officials at the Orphans Foundation, fulfilling a decision made with their family to aid those affected by the ongoing crisis in the Palestinian territory.
Mehmet Ali Aysu, a member of the Advisory Board of the Orphans Foundation, lauded the donation, drawing parallels to selfless acts of sacrifice witnessed during the early days of Islam. "Abu Dahdahs did not die," he stated, referencing a notable figure known for his significant charitable contributions during the time of Prophet Muhammad.
Aysu summarized the dire humanitarian situation in Gaza, saying: "As it is known, there is a human tragedy in Gaza; women, children, and babies are being killed. People cannot access hospitals. There is no medicine, water, food, and we have been watching this on television for over a year. Every single person is touched when they see these images and think, 'what can I do?' Seeing this, our benefactors show great examples of sacrifice. Until today, we had brothers and sisters who handed over their houses, land, motorbikes they rode to us and said, 'deliver the money to Gaza,' and this sacrifice still continues. Because children continue to die in Gaza, hunger and thirst continue."
Speaking specifically about the car donation, Aysu expressed deep gratitude, saying: "Today, one of our brothers made a decision with his family and delivered his cars, which are perhaps the most valuable ones, to our foundation together with the keys and license. We have received this relic, and Inshallah, we will sell this car as soon as possible and try to deliver the money to our brothers from Gaza. May God be pleased with these brothers."
Aysu further emphasized the spirit of sacrifice, recalling a historical event: "Indeed, today is the day of sacrifice. When the Messenger of Allah said in the mosque, 'Is there anyone who will lend to Allah today?' Abu Dahdah said, 'I am lending' and gave his garden in the most beautiful place of Medina to our Lord, 'O Messenger of Allah, I lend this to Allah'. Alhamdulillah, Abu Dahdahs are not dead today; our brothers and sisters are bringing their houses, cars, motorbikes, and delivering them to Gaza with the sensitivity of the Companions of that day. May Allah be pleased with these brothers and sisters."
This act of kindness from the Diyarbakır philanthropist highlights the continued concern and support for the people of Gaza within Türkiye, with individuals making significant personal sacrifices to provide aid during the ongoing humanitarian crisis. The Orphans Foundation will now proceed with selling the donated vehicle to channel the funds to those in need in Gaza. (ILKHA)
