Prophet’s Lovers Foundation opens 2025 Mawlid events with call for Islamic unity and justice

Under the theme “Resistance Guide Prophet Muhammad (PBUH)”, the Prophet’s Lovers Foundation inaugurated its annual Mawlid al-Nabi commemorations in the historic district of Cizre, transforming the tranquil banks of the Tigris into a roaring voice of Muslim resistance and unity.
As Zionist brutality continues to devastate Gaza and imperialist silence grows ever louder, Muslims from across southeastern Türkiye gathered not just to celebrate the birth of the Final Prophet (PBUH), but to reaffirm their allegiance to the values of justice, sacrifice, and prophetic resistance.
The amphitheatre near the İsmail Ebul-İz El-Cezerî Suspension Bridge was filled with thousands of attendees from Şırnak, Silopi, İdil, Kumçatı and surrounding towns. Free bus services were organized to accommodate the large turnout, with many participants arriving early to secure a place in the spiritual and symbolic gathering. Despite cold winds and tight security, the atmosphere was one of warmth, unity, and unwavering purpose. The scene was made even more moving by the presence of women, children, elders, and young men who came in droves, many waving Palestinian flags and holding banners with Qur’anic verses and slogans such as “Gaza Will Never Be Alone” and “Resistance Is Our Honour.”
The event opened with a solemn and melodious recitation of the Holy Qur’an by renowned qari Orhan Kalkan. Following this, Nasuh Sevinik delivered the opening address on behalf of the Prophet’s Lovers Foundation. His speech set the tone for the event, drawing parallels between the Prophet’s (PBUH) struggle against Qurayshi tyranny in Mecca and the Palestinian people's defiance against modern-day Pharaohs and oppressors in Tel Aviv and Washington.
As part of the event, a charitable bazaar was also established, raising funds for those in need locally and for the devastated people of Gaza. The bazaar served not only as a means of material support but also as a visual and economic manifestation of Islamic solidarity.
Prominently hung on the platform were the portraits of Sheikh Muhammad Zeki Atak — martyred in a PKK ambush in 1992 — and the great Kurdish scholar Melayê Cizîrî. These figures symbolized a deeper legacy of Islamic scholarship and struggle rooted in the land of Cizre, which has historically stood as a bastion of Islamic resistance against secularist and imperialist currents.
Prominent Islamic scholars such as Molla Osman Tayfur and Molla Mizgin (Mehmet Beşir Varol) took the stage to deliver passionate lectures on the prophetic model of resistance. Drawing from the Seerah, they emphasized how the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) never capitulated to tyrants and always stood with the oppressed, even when doing so meant isolation, war, or exile.
HÜDA PAR MP and Deputy Chairman Şahzade Demir, who was present throughout the program, also addressed the audience. He reminded the crowd that the Islamic world was undergoing a pivotal test, where silence in the face of oppression is complicity, and that now is the time for clear, courageous stances — not political calculations.
The event climaxed with the reading of the official 2025 Mawlid al-Nabi message, a stirring declaration drafted by the Prophet’s Lovers Foundation. Rich with Islamic terminology and historical references, the message wove together themes of resistance, mercy, martyrdom, and unity under the leadership and example of the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH).
Key Highlights from the Mawlid al-Nabi Message:
1. Resistance as a Sacred Duty:
The message emphasized that the only noble response to the relentless wars and genocides waged on Muslim lands is active, blessed resistance. The Prophet’s (PBUH) life — from Badr to the Treaty of Hudaybiyyah — was cited as a roadmap for contemporary struggles, especially those of the Palestinian resistance.
2. Gaza as the Furqan of Our Time:
Echoing the Qur’anic theme of Furqan (the Criterion), the message described Gaza as the defining battle that distinguishes truth from falsehood in this era. The resistance of Hamas and the mujahideen was hailed as a spark that reawakened the slumbering Ummah and inspired even non-Muslims to reevaluate the lies of Western imperialism.
3. Brotherhood and Global Duty:
It was firmly stated that the people of Gaza have been left to endure this sacred resistance alone — a shameful reality that must be rectified. The message called on all Muslims, from the poorest villages to the richest capitals, to shoulder their duty towards Gaza not merely as charity, but as a divine obligation.
4. Martyrdom and Moral Superiority:
Contrasting the mercy of Islamic resistance with the cruelty of the Zionist regime, the message pointed out the dignity shown by Palestinian fighters even towards captives. The names of contemporary martyrs — Ismail Haniyeh, Yahya Sinwar, Mohammed Daif, and others — were invoked as exemplars of sincerity, courage, and prophetic character.
5. Unity Over Sect and Nationalism:
The message took direct aim at sectarianism, nationalism, and the colonial legacy that has divided the Ummah. It called on Muslims to reject the fake borders and ideologies imposed by colonialists and unite under one banner: the prophetic mission of justice and mercy.
6. The Failure of International Systems:
The impotence of Western courts and human rights organizations in the face of Israel’s crimes was described as further proof that salvation lies not in secular institutions, but in Islamic leadership and divine guidance.
7. Syria, Beyond War:
The message concluded with a prayer for Syria, hoping for the end of war and the removal of all tyrants. The revolution was seen as unfinished — and the rebuilding of Syria was described as a responsibility for all Muslims, not just Syrians.
As dusk settled over Cizre, chants of “Labbaik Ya Rasulallah” and “Free Palestine!” filled the air. Elderly men wept, mothers held their children closer, and youth gathered in circles, discussing what more could be done. In a world overwhelmed by injustice and apathy, this gathering in Türkiye’s southeast stood as a radiant testimony to the enduring power of faith, unity, and prophetic resistance.
For the Prophet’s Lovers Foundation and the thousands who joined them in Cizre, this was not just a celebration of birth — it was a renewed oath to carry the prophetic legacy into the battlefields of our time, from Al-Quds to Aleppo, from Rafah to Cizre.
“Gaza is not alone, the Ummah will never bow!”

OUR FOUNDATION'S GREGORIAN CALENDAR / APRIL RESISTANCE LEADER PROPHET MUHAMMAD (PBUH) MAWLID AL-NABI MESSAGE - 2025
Praise be to Allah, Lord of the worlds. May peace and blessings be upon Prophet Muhammad, the leader of resistance, and upon all his family and companions.
1. Resistance: The Herald of Imminent Victories, Led by Prophet Muhammad (PBUH).
The imperative response to the relentless and disproportionate wars imposed on Muslim lands, devoid of conscience and mercy, is a sacred and blessed resistance. Recent atrocities, surpassing even history's most notorious genocides, reveal the merciless and vile nature of the oppressors. The Prophet Muhammad’s (PBUH) approach in safeguarding Muslims and his unwavering resolve against oppression serve as a fundamental principle for every dignified and honorable Muslim. The epitome of this resistance is embodied in the glory of Badr, the trials of Uhud, and the steadfastness against the armies of Ahzab.
2.Sanctity: Distinguishing Truth from Falsehood, with Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) as the Witness of Truth.
In this challenging era, where fierce tribulations cloud Muslim minds, the true dawn we seek shines brightly in the righteous struggle of the Palestinian mujahideen. This is indeed a Furqan War, clearly delineating truth from falsehood for those who reflect. The resistance of Hamas, Islamic Jihad, the people of Gaza, and the defenders of Al-Aqsa Mosque has awakened the honorable progeny of the Ummah, who have been lulled into slumber for over a century. This awakening extends beyond Muslims to include conscientious individuals within the populations of imperialist states.
3. Zeal: The Unwavering Pursuit of a Righteous Cause, Exemplified by Prophet Muhammad (PBUH).
The ineffectiveness of international court sanctions against Zionist Israel and imperialist powers is evident. Muslim nations must urge their leaders, who hide behind claims of “national interests,” to take decisive action. The “imperialist beast” seeks to devour not only the oppressed people of Palestine but all Muslim communities.
4. Justice: Ensuring Global Peace and Security, with Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) as the Exemplar of Mercy.
Islam is a life-giving elixir, offering justice, peace, and security to the world. The unparalleled mercy demonstrated by the Prophet (PBUH) in upholding human dignity is a profound lesson that wins hearts. The Hamas mujahideen’s approach to prisoner exchanges, demonstrating both courage and compassion, reflects this noble spirit. A comparison between Palestinian and Zionist Israeli prisoners starkly illustrates the mercy of Islam versus the savagery of disbelief.
5. Martyrdom: The Sublime Outcome of Devotion and Purification, with Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) as the Pioneer of Courage.
Martyrdom is the earned culmination of dedicated lives. Martyrs are beacons on the path of righteous struggle. The martyrs of the Al-Aqsa Flood, including Ismail Haniyeh, Yahya Sinwar, Mohammed Deif, and others, are the pride of the Ummah. They are blessed teachers, demonstrating true devotion and purification for the cause of Islam to Muslims afflicted by worldly obsession. It is the responsibility of the living to uphold the martyrs’ legacy and continue their path.
6. Brotherhood: The Islamic Duty of Aid and Solidarity, with Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) as the Model of Loyalty.
The Hamas fighters and the Palestinian people, who confronted the Zionists in the Al-Aqsa Flood, have been left to endure this blessed resistance alone. Therefore, Muslims worldwide owe a debt to the people of Gaza. The revival and reconstruction of Gaza are essential aspects of our human and Islamic responsibility. Every Muslim individual and community should contribute to the best of their ability.
7. Wisdom: The Mirror of Patience for Freedom and Liberation, with Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) as the Guide to Salvation. Freedom is a fundamental right for all Muslim-majority regions. Wars in these regions have never benefited Muslims. Ending conflicts by overthrowing tyrannical leaders who oppress Muslim lands is preferable to continued warfare. We hope the revolution in Syria will bring peace and stability to its people. Lessons must be learned from past mistakes, and a more inclusive approach should be adopted for reconstruction.
8. Unity: Emphasizing Common Ground, with Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) as the Leader of Muslims.
The Al-Aqsa Flood Operation and recent events have exposed the deep divisions within the Islamic world, revealing how leaders appointed by imperialist powers prioritize personal interests over their people’s dignity. Imperialist forces, through these leaders, exacerbate nationalism and sectarianism, profiting from the resulting conflicts. The indifference and negligence of these leaders towards Muslim peoples’ problems are unacceptable. Muslim nations must unite under leaders and structures that genuinely bear responsibility and demonstrate unwavering commitment to protecting our oppressed lands. (ILKHA)
