Erdoğan receives New Zealand’s Governor-General Cindy Kiro in Ankara
Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan met with New Zealand’s Governor-General Cindy Kiro at the Presidential Complex in Ankara on Tuesday.
Erdoğan personally welcomed Governor-General Kiro outside the Presidential Complex. The two leaders posed for photographs in front of the press before proceeding inside for their bilateral meeting.
The talks between President Erdoğan and Governor-General Kiro are expected to focus on strengthening bilateral relations between Türkiye and New Zealand, as well as cooperation on regional and international issues.
Governor-General Cindy Kiro, who serves as the representative of New Zealand’s head of state, is on an official visit to Türkiye.
