Goran leader Mustafa has lost his life
Goran Movement Chairman Newshirwan Mustafa, lost his life at the age of 73.
Leader of the Goran Movement from the Iraqi Kurdish parties, Newshirwan Mustafa, died at the age of 73.
According to the written statement made by the Goran Movement, Newshirwan Mustafa, who has various health problems, lost his life in Sulaymaniyah city of Iraqi Kurdistan where he resides.
Mustafa was treated in London, England for about a year.
Who is Newshirwan Mustafa?
Newshirwan Mustafa, was born in 1944 in Sulaymaniyah, completed his primary and secondary education in Sulaymaniyah. In 1967 he graduated from Baghdad University Faculty of Political Sciences Mustafa, did graduate in Austria at the beginning of the 70s. Newshirwan Mustafa, who entered politics in the 1960s, his first stop was the Kurdistan Student Association. In 1963-64 he became a member of the board of the union.
Mustafa, a member of the Democratic Party of Kurdistan [KDP] Sulaymaniyah Province Organization in 1967 and the concessionaire of ‘Rızgari’ magazine in 1969, was one of the founding members of the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan [PUK].
In 2009, he established a party named the Movement for Change [Goran]. (ILKHA)
