The head of Hizbullah Jamaah, Edip Gümüş, has released a condolence message for the victims of the earthquake that hit southern Türkiye and northern Syria on Monday.
Citing a verse from Holy Quran that says ‘Surely, we belong to Allah and verily to Him do we return’, Edip Gümüş said: “We wish Allah’s mercy on our brothers and sisters who died in the earthquake that caused fatalities and injuries in the provinces of Adıyaman, Antep, Adana, Hatay, Osmaniye, Urfa, Diyarbakır, Malatya and Kilis, and the provinces of Aleppo, Hama and Latakia in Syria. May Allah grant beautiful patience ‘Sabr Jameel’ to their families.”
Gümüş also called for urgent humanitarian aid for people affected by the earthquake. (ILKHA)
