HÜDA PAR Chairman visits Ankara Palestine Solidarity Platform

HÜDA PAR Chairman Zekeriya Yapıcıoğlu visited the Ankara Palestine Solidarity Platform (ANFIDAP) on Thursday to discuss the ongoing crisis in Gaza and a proposed law targeting dual nationals involved in Israel’s actions in Palestine.
The closed-door meeting, held at the Research and Culture Foundation, lasted approximately 90 minutes and included ANFIDAP spokesperson Av. Mustafa Eminoğlu and platform members, alongside a HÜDA PAR delegation.
Yapıcıoğlu commended ANFIDAP’s longstanding advocacy for Palestine, emphasizing HÜDA PAR’s commitment to supporting Gaza. “The situation in Gaza remains dire,” he stated post-meeting. “We discussed enhancing joint efforts for Palestine and the objectives of our law proposal submitted to Parliament.” The proposed legislation aims to hold dual citizens accountable for participation in alleged war crimes and genocide in Gaza.
Reaffirming his party’s stance, Yapıcıoğlu added, “We will continue doing everything we can for Gaza and Palestine. No Muslim should set this issue aside until the oppression ends and Palestine and Al-Aqsa are liberated.”
ANFIDAP’s Eminoğlu welcomed the visit, stressing the platform’s non-partisan approach. “We value consultations with all political parties,” he said. “The meeting was productive, particularly regarding HÜDA PAR’s proposal to prosecute dual citizens involved in war crimes.”
The visit reflects growing calls in Türkiye for stronger legal and diplomatic measures to support Palestine and address accountability for war crimes amid Israel’s ongoing aggression in Gaza. (ILKHA)
