HÜDA PAR: Gaza ceasefire marks a historic victory for Palestinian resistance

HÜDA PAR’s Mersin Deputy Faruk Dinç declared that the recently achieved ceasefire in Gaza stands as a decisive victory for the Palestinian resistance, achieved through the steadfast courage and endurance of the Gazan people in the face of two years of relentless Israeli aggression.
Speaking at a press conference in the Grand National Assembly of Türkiye (TBMM), Dinç said the ceasefire is not merely a political arrangement but the fruit of resistance and faith, proving that despite genocide, siege, and destruction, the spirit of Gaza remains unbroken.
“The ceasefire is the victory of the Palestinian resistance groups’ determined struggle that has continued for two years, and the victory of the patience and resilience shown by the people of Gaza despite the genocide committed by the Isreali occupation regime,” Dinç said.
“This development has demonstrated to the entire world that neither the resistance nor the will of the people has been broken. However, the real struggle begins now.”
Dinç warned that while the Israeli regime failed militarily, it is now attempting to achieve through political deception what it could not secure on the battlefield.
“Neither bombs nor isolation policies have been able to bring Gaza to its knees,” he said.
“However, following the ceasefire, attempts are being made to achieve through political maneuvers the goals that could not be reached through military means.”
The HÜDA PAR MP accused the occupying regime of resorting to “post-war manipulation” to weaken Gaza’s sovereignty and resistance, emphasizing that any political scheme seeking to neutralize the resistance is doomed to fail.
Dinç issued a strong warning against the U.S.-backed so-called ‘peace plan’ for Gaza, calling it a veiled attempt to dismantle the Palestinian resistance. He urged the guarantor countries — Türkiye, Qatar, and Egypt — to act decisively in defending Palestinian interests.
“These countries must defend the interests of Gaza and the Palestinian people without compromise,” he said.
“Any attempt to purge Gaza of its resistance must not be allowed. The U.S. and the Israeli regime’s plan to reduce Palestinians to a symbolic role in Gaza’s governance is unacceptable. Removing the Palestinian resistance from Gaza would mean rewarding the occupiers who failed on the battlefield at the negotiating table.”
Dinç stressed that Gaza’s security and dignity cannot be ensured by appeasing the occupation, but only by empowering the resistance that defended its people under siege and bombardment.
Calling for greater unity across the Muslim world, Dinç highlighted that the upcoming phase of negotiations will test the integrity and determination of Muslim nations and all people of conscience.
“In the next phase of talks, the firm and principled stance of guarantor countries will be decisive,” he said.
“Against any form of pressure targeting Hamas and other resistance movements, the Islamic world and all people of conscience must be more united and in solidarity than ever before.”
Dinç concluded by reminding that the ceasefire should not lead to complacency but rather serve as a launching point for renewed solidarity, reconstruction, and resistance in Gaza.
“The victory in Gaza is not the end — it is the beginning of a new chapter in the Palestinian struggle for freedom,” he said.
“It is the duty of the entire Islamic Ummah to ensure that the blood of Gaza’s martyrs leads to liberation, not compromise.” (ILKHA)
