In a press conference held at the Grand National Assembly of Türkiye, HÜDA PAR Spokesperson and Batman MP, Serkan Ramanlı, addressed critical issues on the international stage.
Beginning with a heartfelt expression of condolences for the earthquake victims in Afghanistan, he highlighted the urgent need for international aid.
"The government of Afghanistan has called for urgent aid for the earthquake victims, emphasizing the need for medicine and food assistance," stated Ramanlı. "We extend our deepest condolences to our brothers and sisters who lost their lives in the earthquakes, and we urge the international community, especially Islamic countries and the Organization of Islamic Cooperation, to take swift action in providing aid. The Afghan people should not be left alone and without support during these challenging times."
Shifting the focus to the ongoing situation in Palestine, Ramanlı strongly condemned the attacks by the zionist regime and expressed solidarity with the Palestinian resistance.
"The Al Aqsa Flood operation launched by our Palestinian Muslim brothers and sisters has exposed the true nature of the zionist aggression," declared Ramanlı. "The struggle against the zionist regime, which openly defies international law, is both just and legitimate. The international community must take immediate measures to remove the zionist regime from the occupied territories. We stand in full support of the Palestinian resistance working to liberate the occupied lands and safeguard the Al-Aqsa Mosque,” he said.
Ramanlı criticized those who remained silent during previous atrocities committed by the Zionist regime but now claim to advocate for peace.
“It is unacceptable for countries in the region to strengthen the hand of Zionism against the resistance with their condemnatory statements. What we witness today is a consequence of the systematic genocide policy that has persisted for years. Every individual, institution, and state, particularly the Organization of Islamic Cooperation and Islamic countries, advocating for peace must take a clear stance by supporting the Palestinian resistance against the Zionist occupation,” Ramanlı said.
The spokesperson's statements underscored the urgency of international action in both Afghanistan and Palestine, emphasizing the need for solidarity and support for those facing dire humanitarian crises and the impacts of conflict in the region. (ILKHA)
