Responding to Netanyahu's statements about him, President Erdoğan said: "Netanyahu, you are an oppressor and heading state terrorism."
President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan participated in the mass opening ceremony of the newly built facilities in the Arnavutköy district of Istanbul.
Addressing citizens during the ceremony, President Erdoğan said the world speaks of Turkiye’s successes it has achieved in a wide range of areas, from humanitarian diplomacy to defense industry, and that everyone appreciates the results it has obtained both on the ground and in diplomacy in Syria.
Referring to the occupation regime's Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s accusations against Turkiye about being an invader in Cyprus and killing women and children, President Erdoğan stated: "I suppose the Israeli Prime Minister stumbled over his words. He was probably going to say they are being an invader in Palestine, and that they are murdering the women, children and tens of thousands innocent people from every age in the Palestinian soil with guns and bombs or in solitary confinement cells."
Stating that Netanyahu has knocked on the wrong door, the Turkish President said: "Erdoğan is the voice of the oppressed; you are the voice of oppressors."
"You are conducting state terrorism. You are kicking and dragging women, children, and babies at the hands of your soldiers and police officers."
"Netanyahu, you are an oppressor and heading state terrorism. It befits you solely, not Erdoğan. Turkiye struggles against not the innocent, but terrorists. And, we have for nearly 40 years paid the price of this struggle by giving thousands of martyrs and tens of thousands of veterans," the President said.
President Erdoğan further noted that terror regime has no right to accuse anyone before giving the account of its own sins, the crimes it has committed against humanity as well as the massacres and the destructions it has carried out. (ILKHA)
