President Erdoğan to host Lebanese PM Nawaf Salam in İstanbul for high-level talks
Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan is set to receive Lebanese Prime Minister Nawaf Salam in İstanbul on July 10, 2026, for high-level talks aimed at strengthening bilateral relations between the two countries.
The announcement was made by Burhanettin Duran, Head of Communications at the Turkish Presidency, who said the meeting would focus on Türkiye–Lebanon ties in all their dimensions.
According to Duran, President Erdoğan and Prime Minister Salam are expected to discuss a broad range of bilateral issues, reflecting the two countries' commitment to enhancing political, economic, and regional cooperation.
The visit comes amid ongoing regional developments in the Middle East, with Ankara and Beirut maintaining close diplomatic contacts on issues of mutual interest.
